I don't pretend to know about the new technology in these bikes ...but I owned and rode a 250CR and 360WR Husky way back when..along with a GS6 KTM..for dirt digging and enduros..the Huskies [and KTM] were so well crafted..looking at the machine work on these photos and the beautiful welds..they have not lost the touch...hope they function as well as they look..thanks for posting.

OK Dog ya got me again! I should have known you would only buy a bike if you can file off the casting edges with a 12" coarse file or failing that a hammer and chisel...PhilButt out..

Who, what or where is Tamburini [other than most probably in Italy]? Also note the yellow paint on critical points to verify that the union has not loosened [no WA comments Dog!]..true race or enduro fare...

Massimo Tamburini is the best motorcycle designer in the world. You got some catching up to do, Phil...

i rode a husky at the ISDE one year. i brought handlebars, suspension, a top end and a pipe. they supplied the rest.
much to my dismay (especially on day 5), the bike wouldn't quit running.

the next year i rode a japanese bike (won't say which one, but it started with a "Y").
on day one it ate the transmission. found a transmission "bush" and harvested some new gears for it.

on day three it ate that one too.

un f---ing believable! I thought the Aprillia was hot, but I lusted Huskies all my moto life for their attention to detail, they just didn't have the HP of the jap bikes, so it was always a decision between the big 4 in any given year. i just wonder what is going to happen when the big 4 decide this motard stuff is here to stay. gentleman, start your boners!

man, ain't that the truth!
i've never participated in anything that had teams before that was SO prejudiced against the USA winning anything.
those MOFO's go out of their way to make sure we don't "do".
still the same today.........the ISDE is going on right now in New Zealand.

Very smart to put tire hugging fenders on it instead of those MX fenders usually found on SM's. Since the Italians own Husky, who does the design and mfg? Italians or Swedes or Malaysians or Kamchatkans? From whom do they source the engines? Will this be imported? Is it a concept? Where's the closest dealer? I'm to lazy to research this stuff myself.
