Front end "remodel"

i got the rear end of the bike all set up, i posted "Smuggler Blues and Whites" a week ago after i got my custom seat pod back from painting. The rear transformation consisted of: Laser muffler and cat eliminator, custom painted Corbin Smuggler, Ilmberger hugger, R1100S Goodies Extra Stealth license plate bracket. Wilbers rear shock, and stealth turn signals. The rear looks hot! I was wondering how I was going to get a similar "race" effect on the front end. Here is what I have decided: Wilber front shock (already installed), motoyoyo's triple clamps in black (sweet! I can't wait to get them!) solid carbon fiber turn signal pods (sans signals), smoked windshield, and these cool convex Pigspotter mirrors (I sent them (stmachine.com) pics of the fairing and original mirrors and they said they will work, complete with LED turn signals) This ought to complete the "aesthetic" transformation. Next phase; the motor! (induct, power filter, PCIII, maybe cams) it will be a hot looking bike! and run like a champ!

the bike in the pic is a yamaha, but the mirrors are universal, the guys at st machine (stmachine.com) said they will mount through the existing mounting holes, but with the bolts inserted from the underside of the fairing, and they come with the rubber gasket (like the stockers) for the resourceful it shouldnt be too hard to make them work, and they have the LED signals in em. mine are already on order!

I already see my elbows in the stockers. Why in the world would you want to mount your mirrors 10" closer to the body? Might as well leave em off altogether as they will be utterly useless.

Because it meets the letter of the law, if not the spirit.

they are convex mirrors, so their field of vision is quite a bit larger, although you do have to get used to "the images in the mirror are closer than you might think (sic)"

I've had two different bikes hocked without mirrors. Uncomfortable rides to/from their storage place. The owners must ride them that way, not that I see them on the road much.
