The most interesting appears to be this GS version of the 800. Very nice.

This gets me thinking.... hmm Since BMW is entering World Superbike in '09. That means they have to sell a curtein number to the public. Could one of the five bikes be the WSB bike?

I'm very jealous of Mandy Langston (co-editor of the BMW ON magazine) she is going to the show. NO FAIR! I WANT TO GO!

GS looks nice! And it is a "chaingolian" Could be my next New bike... I need something for off road in addition to my KTM450 as it is too small to travel any real distance.

Perhaps you bought the 650 a little too soon Craig?

Nope. Mine was in the $5K range. I can't shell out list price for that.

Although, if I could only have one bike that looks pretty nice.

The $5K bike was a business expense to ride around taking photos at 60 mpg instead of the 18mpg in the Jeep or Sierra.

I hope this is the real deal! I've been anxiously waiting to see what an 800 GS would look like. I've been spending alot of time over at the ADV site and I've got the itch. Can't wait so see if its for real and how she rides!

I gather the F800Xmoto isn't exactly setting sales records... so I can't see the 450 doing better, given that the 800 has less class competition than the 450 would.
