I had a quote some years back that said, "Inertia without a vector was inherently dangerous." Just make sure that Porsche is pointed where you want that velocity to go.

Haven't done calculus since the 70s and forgot most of it. DX = change in position, DT = change in time, so it means velocity?

Been taking care of my dad on weekends, so I haven't gotten the bike out in awhile... But he likes to ride around in his truck. Since I am driving I decided to stop at some scenic places.

More power to you, The sacrifices are well worth it.

We took care of my Grandmother, and kept her wish, to let her leave this world with family by her side, at home, and not in a hospital connected to tubes, which she did, 2 months short of her 105th birthday!

She always enjoyed day trips around the area, and a stop for an ice cream on the way home. The experiance enriched our family, and is something I would do again in a heart beat.

Tonight

I noticed this sitting on my front porch post. So I creaked the door open slowly, stuck the lens out and went click.

Then click twice more.

And then he flew away.
The End.

I initially thought he was looking for a flying squirrel but then he looks kinda pensive....even if he does have a smushed face.

I like owls.

Twice in the last week I've been on a hike in a somewhat remote location and there's a peacock there hiding in the bushes. It doesn't go anywhere and not sure why it's there. Wonder if I should take it some food. Do they like jelly bellys?

Bob, I think you got a great shot of the Eastern Screech Owl. Very nice. He may return. I think they are territorial
