From the Indy Mile a year or two ago. I did not have the best lens with me for low light fast action but the track lights and other peoples flash helped me out on this one. I must have had 300 crappy shots but this one was money.

Really like that particular shot, Craig! An unusual composition, and super interesting.

Neat pic! It was the 2010 race (no 2011 race because of the stage collapse) and that's Brian Smith riding the Werner Springsteen Kawi 650. That was a great race.

This is a low level crossing 2 minutes away from where I live today, last week I took my son over for driving lessons with no water on the crossing. The high water marker is 1.8M above the creek level. By 5pm on Thursday we had exceeded the March average rainfall for Canberra, and we've only just come out of summer. 2 years ago the government and greenies were lamenting the fact we had been in drought for 10 years and we were enduring water restrictions hence the need to build a new dam. We had our fisrt loss of life to these floods last night about 1.5 hrs away when 3 guys tried to cross a swollen creek. Car stalled and 3 men washed away. 2 were lucky to be found clinging to a tree suffering hypothermia

I wasn't paying attention - unaware that Canberra was copping it too. Most of the news has been about the flooding from mid Victoria to the midnorth of NSW. I am currently in Fairview - about 20 minutes north of Injune QLD. this was the view yesterday evening

Next time she sends a box like that, have her make it so some electrical wires are hanging out of it. That should go over well.

Turns out it was not for me. It was a gift and I was just the middleman between my daughter and her friend.
![]() AZ-Twin- Last time I traveled I had an iPod with headphones/wires and a spare AAA battery in a metal glasses case. I almost got strip-searched with that combo and they tested me for explosives residue. ![]()
