It don't look like much, and to tell the truth it isn't, but it is snowing like crazy here in southern AZ. This pic does not accurately depict how much of the white stuff is falling from the sky. Pretty cool for us desert dwellers. We only get this a couple times a year out here.

Weather has been crazy good here. I never had to get the shovel out once this year. The past two weeks has been in the 70's and 80's. Some days were a record breaking high.

HOLY SHIP!!! There is NO snow to be found in Western NY, near Buffalo, was 77 yesterday, it is 78 now and suppose to push 80 again the next 2 or 3 days! We are 6 weeks ahead of normal weather.

UNBELIEVABLE western NY winter, I usually need to plow 10-15 times a year (mind you I don't plow unless I can't drive through it, 12"+ generally) this year ZIP, never had more than 6" on the ground at one time.

Yesterday was miserable for a good part of the day.
High winds = sand & tumbleweeds blasting through.
Rain & hail off and on.
Power out in the morning. Or actually all my bulbs were really dim and orange.

Good spring break weather for the tourists.

Good thing I had my St. Patrick's Day buddy...

Glad you folks are enjoying the snow while we here in the corn & bean fields are having mild sunny days.

It's Spring in Georgia

I took this shot of my first hibuscus bloom of the year moments ago with my iPhone. I just wanted to share some of the beauty of spring.

Paused at the motorcycle destination spot of Deckers today. Great riding in every direction. Gold medal fishing abounds in the Middle Fork of the South Platte here. Saw some rainbow whoppers snacking on natural flies as I strolled along the river finding where the photographer stood long ago. There's a fly shop (Flies & Lies) here. The river and dirt roads of 100 years ago have been rerouted. Most of the structures are gone as well. Oh but those hills remain unrerouted...

Facing north, the river and road crossings of Deckers back then...

Climbed the hill overlooking Deckers in the motorcycle gear. Could have scrambled a little higher to the rock the individual is sitting on, but would have been
amidst a dense stand of trees...

It actually was quite the idyllic place back then. Good fishin', good game in the forests, etc...

And you know, the fishin' and the huntin' remain good, as does the ridin'. A guard rail and a seriously big tree nearby prevented me from a slightly better
perspective...

And one could even refresh in a lithia bath back then...

Today...

The old Deckers post office and store was to the north of today's structures. Can see it in the first old image above, across from the large dark building...

Just an empty and small grassy field, with a hillside more populated with trees (very typical nowadays)...

Oh, it kinda faded, so thought this would be a better place for the occasional then now, and the occasional anything.
