Oh, c'mon... you can't make a decent burger from that calf...

Veal marsala or veal parmesan, however...

Here in Arkansas we have been having a really wet spring. The woods this year are like a tropical jungle. I went on a 6 mile hike today with my oldest daughter who is home from college for the summer.

One of the big differences in Craigs photos ( besides his excellence and my just pushing the shutter button with lots of hope) is he has long range visibilty, and a predominately red color. Here in AR. everything is Green and the humidity keeps visibilty quite short.

I've noticed you can't find those D40x bodies easily anymore. I think they were all snapped up after the unrealized expectations of the D60.

All from Germany/Austria.

A hydrant in a hedge

Their trackhoes had wheels

There were things that couldn't be easily explained

I'll look at almost anything with wheels

I presume this is a hunting stand. I left one of my business cards in it

I saw this billboard frequently. My kid hasn't translated it yet

You guys in snow country may be used to these things

As cool as those models are I've never understood the willingness to spend so much time, money and effort to fly something you can't get in and go along.

It's just fun. Simple as that. It can also be challenging if you fly competition.

Same as why one would want to ride a motorcycle...forget about the wind in you hair, the open road, freedom, blah, blah, blah. It's just fun.
