hi all,
By my calculations the San Luis riders should be leaving Shell Beach,(the Steamin' Bean Cafe),by 9:00am Friday morning to be at the hotel by 2:30. This assumes that it will take everyone going to fly the cobra sym. will need an hour to check in and 'freshen' up.
This also assumes that we will be eating lunch,(lite and fast), and we will be picking up riders in Santa Barbarba, Santa Maria, and the Thousand oaks- camerillo- oak park area of Ventura counties.
Lets set up meeting places for these areas and I'll call the group that will meet the group 1-2 hours before each connection.
Thoughts if any,

Thing is... I only need a medium or maybe large plastic jar.... shipping will be almost more than the actual product... so, if Jeff or anyone else can bring one... it's worth a cold one to me... if it's to much of a hassle, I'll order the stuff off the website.

FYI having been in a BBQ crew for 15 years and having a father who was in a crew for 40 years, this stuff is easy to make. If I use this stuff I usually add more pepper because this mix is loaded with salt and garlic salt. anyway its on the way.

Thanks Pat but we won't be down in Oceanside till Friday.
On Thursday KJAZZ and I are picking up the bikes and either heading north to the Rockstore and the Canyons of 'Bu'.

or depending on Kerry....

We could do 33 to Lockwood Valley (Full tread this time.) then out to the I5. Toward LA.

Then we will find some place to sleep and head down Oceanside on Friday.

Can't wait to see you all next Friday!!

Hi everyone, thanks for your kind words. I dont remember much About the accident other than "Aww Sh#$ This is not going to be good!!" Alot of things happened that caused the crash and I could have prevented most of them, I think. (hind sight is 20/20) The end result is Jeff Alive, GSXR dead. Not a bad ending all things considered. My injuries are not so bad on each merrit, however all of them at once makes for a very long recovery.
All lessons learned? No, but some very important ones, such as never break your own riding rules, the value of great friends, Great family and good insurance. "yes, I have all of the last three."

32 years of following my passion to its fullest (Awsome!!!)
2 to 3 months recovery (A price I'm going to pay)
My wife letting me back on a motorcycle (priceless)

Thanks again I will see you soon have fun you know I would and dont forget I still have one bike left in the garage.( UM V2S-650 Hey at least its a twin.)
