R1150GS Hugger fit an R1100S?

See topic title.

Turns out the ilmberger hugger I bought off of the MOA site is for the GS/R/Rockster, and is different than the one made for the S. From what I can tell from the pictures, it's a little longer and a little more narrow than the S hugger.

Has anyone tried to fit one of the GS hugger on an S?

I just got the hugger last night and I broke my foot on Monday, so I haven't taken the time to try and fit the hugger, or even hold it up to the bike. Just trying to get an idea of whether I should dump it on someone else and buy dbltailexit's S hugger, or keep it.

Any thoughts? I'm sure I'm not the first...

I'd rather not limp outside and try and fit this in the rain (strangely enough, it has rained EVERY day since I broke my foot...), and I don't want to install it if it won't fit, because then I can't sell it as "never installed".

Nobody has experience with the GS/R hugger on an S?

Is the part number for the GS the same as the R & Rockster? The Rockster has the 5.5 wheel, so it should also fit the S.

Actually, looking again at Ilmberger's website, it appears that there is nothing specifically mentioned about the Rockster. On Sierra BMW's website, they show the Wunderlich re-branded Ilmberger R1100S hugger as the hugger for the Rockster, so it's all pretty ambiguous...

Hoping lightfighter comes through and I can finally put the issue to rest.
