bluetooth adapter, stereo, not mono...
reaching out to the collective to see if anyone know of a bluetooth adapter that allows a user to plug a sending component into the source audio and existing earbuds into a receiver component? i have searched online for bluetooth headsets, etc...the Cardo Scala FM and the Teamset would be a turnkey solution and it may be considered in a year or so. for now, i dont care about communication so much as using my good earbuds to listen to the garmin while riding. i can just plug into the garmin unit, wireless is nice. thanks in advance.

yeah, i think things are still in the development stages...or what i have found wont cut it. even still, when/if something like this comes out, i doubt it would be weather-resistant for bike use.
no worries, probably get better sound plugged into the unit directly. thanks. repoe3

i was hoping to use my scala rider FM with my garmin 2730 for XM and mp3 plays but it doesn't work at all. I'm still testing with it, but so far nada. The bluetooth to my phone works pretty well from the scala, just not the FM from the 2730. I can hear FM stations on my scala rider just fine.

Repoe, take a look at this: Intraride Libery Wireless
http://intaride.com/liberty_details.html Edit: It's a bit pricey so I'm still wired up. I don't mind it and it really didn't bother me even on the recent 1800 mile journey. I'm holding out to see what Chatterbox is coming up with. Supposedly their new BT kit should do it all... supposedly. Last edited by SergioK; 06-01-2007 at 06:48 PM.. |
