I could see that on a Gold Wing or a Hardley, but it'd look just as out of place on an 'S' as in an Aston Martin.

Cup holders are a funny thing, the European cars did not have them for years, while the Chrysler minivans had 17 of them.
The engineers in Europe just could not comprehend why anyone would be drinking while driving.

I never actually drank while I was riding, but the glove box on my K1100LT was great for carrying a drink from a fast food restaurant back to the office.
BMW makes an OEM drink holder for the R12CL. A lot of the K12LT riders ask if it can be retro-fitted to their bikes. Speaking of european cars, a paraphrased exchange from a movie with two guys in a 911 Turbo: "Where are your cup holders?" "I don't have any." "$80,000 for this car and you got no cup holders?" "$105,000, and it's a Limited Edition." "You damn right it's limited. No cup holders, no back seat. Just a shiny d--- with two chairs in it..." I can't imagine that drinking while riding would be any worse than, say, talking on a non-hands-free cell phone while riding...

The only automatic stuff my 1973 RR silver shadow (can't afford a '57 Chev HTC) is the tranny, windows and door locks. Oh yeah, the seats move electrically.

I'd get that, but it goes right where I'm putting my DVD player.

merely move the dual foot massagers back a little, leaving room for the DVD player (it will fit right next to the 500 watt amp) and you'll have more room. matter of fact, you can also fit the electric toothbrush recharger in there (RAM part # A-34523s) and, of course, the shop rag warmer. still looking for a home for the humidifier, pencil sharpener and electric letter opener. i may have to re-fab the mounting bracket for the coffee maker.

Coffee maker is so '90s. Check out the new Ztechnik espresso maker. Grinds the beans, too.

Yeskino, Passo dello Stelvio now:
http://webcam.popso.it/stelvio.php?PASSOALTO But next week summer should arrive...well, it's what metereologists say ![]() Let me know your plans Yeskino, and let's try to make some curves together! p.s. be very very careful while driving in Italy: here traffic is a sort of rational-chaos...

We will get together for sure. As for the traffic, been there before and much prefer it to the US, 10 riders killed in Western NY already this season, by auto drivers not paying attention. Last was just Sunday evening about 30 miles from me. Lady in a Volvo in a hurry to get into a parking lot turned left in front of the guy. I will take the educated and courteous drivers in Europe any time.
