Off the beaten path today

Went for a ride today with some friends today up in the hills near Northstar. First we stopped at the Martis Peak Fire Lookout:






One of the riders' son, Tanner, joined us on his Honda 80.






Nortstar Ski Resort. I had to push this pic a lot, as it was into the sun. The construction in the lower middle is a $320M Ritz Carlton. No relation, unfortunately...






A friend of mine picked up the same KTM as I did.







Then we rode the trails and went up some difficult terrain to get to this cabin. It's maintained by the public at large as kind of a community cabin.

Steve looks like great fun. Major change from the bay area. Keep the pics coming. I think the public cabin might be a good place to hang out for a while, to collect some of the beauty.
