maintenance
Does anyone have any reference material or instructional website that teach you how do do maintenance on the R1100SA yourself. I am thinking of giving it a whirl... thanks

Just dive in and get information and tools as you go, tackling the easy stuff first. First, oil changes, then maybe an air filter change, then valve adjustments, then tires, etc. etc. etc. A shop manual lis always a good idea, but when you focus on one particular type of maintenance, the web will usually turn up tens of tutorials.
