Bonnies. Talk to John Stevens about it first (unless he is the one selling.) I'm sure he will tell you all the failings. Having subscribed to Classic Bike and Classic Motorcycle for 10 years now, both of these brit mags have left me with the belief that while old brit bikes look great....they are in fact overt hyped and nothing but aggravation. With that said, there is no lack of spares so if you want to turn a wrench yourself, it shouldn't be much of an issue. Current repro stuff is mostly MUCH better than anything produced back then.

This is true for Donner and Dasher too. Metallurgy has progressed massively and alot of the issues that old bikes have, at least in my mind is mostly attributable to metallurgy. They don't call those old /2 heads "butter heads" for nothing.
