Longer Brakeline...

Need Brakeline help... I want to perform ABSectomy on my bike and the BCR I bought has everything I need, except I found out that the front brake line that goes from the Mastercylinder to the split block on the lower triple is made for the lower clip on setup... now all I need is a longer brake line... I have been searching and googling left and right to no avail... does anyone have any advise as to where I could get just this hose??? Braided, of course.... it has to be easy after all

I used Cycle Brakes and they had me send the line to Galfer. Sent, said add 2" and the new & old lines were shipped back to me. I needed 2" for my project, I don't know what length you will need.

Good luck with your project, RB

..thanks RBMann, that was very helpful...

I was browsing the Parts Unlimited Catalog but they only have stuff for the "popular" boys... amongst which are - oddly enough - some Guzzi's!?!?

Nothing for my beloved "S" in that catalog... well, tires maybe but they are too expensive from PU anyway..

...actually found what I needed at a local shop. 22" long Braided Line and the needed adapter for $21.58, tax and all out the door... fits like a charm!

Looks like I won't have the time to do the ABSectomy for a while... but, if I do, I will post my experiences and some pictures...
