OT: MOntreal Grand Prix

Last weekend I took a mini vacation and went up to Old Montreal in the cage with my wife and some friends. The race was great with lots of action. I am not going to do a whole write up but I will share some pics and provide a link to all of them if you care to check them out.

Basilique Notre Dam

Motreal Police were riding BMW R1200RT's and handing out tickets

The Basilica-Cathedral of Marie-Reine-du-Monde

Great pictures. I'm leaving SC for the USGP tomorrow. I hope the race is a good as you had in Montreal!

Have a great time. I went to the first Indy GP in 2000 when it was in September. It was a partially wet race so that was cool.

Well personally I love Old Montreal. You can just walk around and there are tons of shops and restaurants. You should check out the downtown area about Peel St and Cresent.

Not to be pedantic but isn't that a R1150RT ... ?

Hong Kong Police have similar, using the R850RT ... (police model only) ...

I was there 2 years ago for an Aviation Security course (the IATA HQs are there ... ) and noticed the bikes then.

Pretty cool place ... was well impressed by the 'underground city' thing!
