Avg RPM @ idle?

04' R1100S appears to be idling higher after the 6k service. Curious what the average PRM should be at idle?

If you look on the side of your transmission, there should be a sticker there. It should say 1100 rpm +/- 50 at idle.

The engine idle may increase depending on weather and riding conditions. At least that's how my bike behaves.

I like to keep mine around 1200. It seems to like it better there.

I installed my Laser BC-II & chip at about 5500 miles. It idled fine both before & after. I brought it in for its 6k, and when I got it back, idle was LOW, around 700 rpm & to the point of stalling when cold. I brought it back & they brought it up to spec, now 1000 - 1100. The dealer admitted they f-ed up the adjustment.

That is where mine seems to be idling now since the 6k service was completed. I should have mentioned that the service was completed early.
