My neighbor turned me on to a new synthetic wax that is great for moto-sickles. This stuff can be used on paint, plastic, rubber and even the windscreen. Works great on the panniers as well! Its some kinda synthentic stuff....No more white residue...
I picked mine up at Wally Mart. (it is pricey though.... around $13) ![]()

I saw an ad for this--they claim no more gunk left in crevices. On your vehicle, that is.

![]() It's a Turtle Wax product. Not sure that it's necessarily any better for motorcycles than it is for cars, or than anything else is for bikes. But it sure would have been nice if the previous owner had used it or just about anything else on my S. There's still green gunk in all of the screw heads, between all of the panels, etc, and it looks like krep. If I could walk, I'd have the panels off and hand-wash them all just to clean it off.

They also came out with a "liquid clay bar". I use Mother's clay bar and have gotten great results. I wonder how well the turtlewax liquid clay works. Claying is a great way to pull all of the grit and dirt out of the paint and windscreen before applying a polish and wax.
