got the spring today. haven't contacted the seller yet, but it is plainly about an inch short in uncompressed length and doesnt appear to be the proper inside diameter either. besides that i was expecting blemished finish but this thing is chingered all to hell.
ah, i probably wont even bother trying to return it, it was a bit of a gamble, but it didnt pay out...

The guy was nice enough when I talked to him, but didn't seem to have correct application charts for the few springs I inquired about.
His info is either old, incomplete, or just messed up, near as I can tell. He seemed legit enough, just kind of uninformed.

yeah... im not even mad.. you pays yer money and you takes yer chances, right? hell for 20 bucks plus shipping i got to have package delivery joy. and if i hang it up high on the peg board, it looks like a cool part from a distance. some day i'll need a spring like that, and i'll have it!

I hear you. Good attitude to have. I should be that way more.
 He probably has a bunch of stuff I can use, but he doesn't (understandably) seem to want to take time to publish the whole list, and I'm tired of playing 20 questions. What length, diameters, and rate is your misprocured spring? If it's something I use much, I might even give you a chance to get your money back.
