Bling For Your S
Here's a way to spiff up the backside of your S, a chromed torque arm. Not a fancy billet job but eye-catching. About $25.

Also polished stainless steel fasteners front to rear, inc. high-strength 7-14 alloy SS for brake rotors and calipers.

... and don't forget the nice green tyre valve caps I can see there, too!

Where can you get the fasteners? - especially for the rotors?

Get the fasteners (button head type) from someplace like McMaster Carr, make sure you get the high-strength alloy SS for them and the calipers. The others are OK with 314 SS. You can get the exact lengths and sizes for the fasterners from the MAX BMW microfiche parts list and order accordingly. Other fasteners you can get from Desmoparts, they advertise on e-bay. My wife got me those green caps for fathers day, they will soon be "lost" somewhere on the road.
Also, thinking about getting a chrome "grille" like the boys in the 'hood to wear, with little rubies spelling out R1100S. |

You're not ill informed, but if you were in Texas right now, your chances of being hit by lightning would be good. Should be yellow like the air compressor hose in the background.

Is there a number associated with the high strength alloy stainless steel fasteners you mentioned? I am looking in mcmaster and am not sure which one you are referring to. Thanks, Tony

Some of the bolts I got from McMaster Carr, some from another place I can't remember the name of. What you want is 7-14 PH stainless with a shear resistance of over 100,000 psi.
