...fun, I have always liked the "Wolf in Sheep Skin" like the Porsche Engie Equipped Bug that Oettinger made in the late 70's... that thing was fun... or the Slightly enlarged Glf II Body on the 928 Chassis...

That's funny as hell when the bus shows up at the inside of that corner, passing the GT3 (?) The captions were in German (?) Did they say the bus had a twin turbo in it?

No, Steve... the captions only explained what the guy in the GT3 was saying at that time... talking abuot where he could have been faster and where the bus really went fast...

Truly Amazing - a VW Bus that can get out of it's own way! Split Windows were my favorite.

Remember how you had to floor those to get as far up a hill as possible before the laborious shifting down to first gear to make it up & over?!

Always had VWs in college, mostly Squarebacks ...plus one '68 red VW Bug that is still missing in the vicinity of Kenmore Square in Boston...

Forget that R1200S, give me the BUS!!! Watch out Vettes, Vipers, etc!!
