OT - Bugatti

This video gives me chills:

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x157l2_bugatti-veyron-at-top-speed

My coworker sent me the link asking if the bugatti was faster than my bike.
Um...yeah...its a bit faster.

You gotta have big brass cojones to go that fast on a 3 lane highway, even if its a closed track.

No. Just aluminum. Now, Mr Munro on a 1925 1000cc Indian at 204 mph we're talkin titanium.

...yeah, I had a chance to test drive that thing last year... the local dealer is a friend/customer... they were giving out time slots (30 min) for each potential customer... it just so happened that there were a couple available as there are not THAT MANY portential customers.

That thing could have cost me a few licenses... you're up to 150 and don't even know it...effortless and without a major rumble... don't really like the price tag though!

This video tells it all realy. Veyron acceleration is mad but I prefer the sound of the Carrera GT, that exhaust note is so evil. The R1 is chanceless.

I like the description of the Veyron as 'a Concorde moment'. A triumph of engineering over sensibiities, like the Ducati Desmosedici RR. I mean, the new buck-98 is probably a better road bike and no one NEEDS 200hp on the street bike but the fact that it exists is pretty damn cool.
It would be a bit like wondering if Salma Hayek can cook.
