Anyone know this R1100S ????

http://adcache.cycletrader.com/5/0/9/89171109.htm

My brother is looking for a BMW, and this one is local to him, but no one at the dealership can give him any history on the bike.

The Bike is in Phoenix

Thanks.

That tyre shine looks a little scarey... perhaps they expect you back for parts after the first decent bend

That looks to be a pretty nice bike.

What is that shock? Is that stock? Looks different.

Is he trying to line up a bike to meet you at the TOR?

Stock-Shock, Craig... I had the same... replaced it with the "Sport Shock" of the BCR... very pretty bike though... and yes, that Armor All Job is always scary... but that's what dealers do.... they still believe it looks better!

Must be the colors in the guys picture. They are probably off. I'm seeing a blue/gray spring (I am color corrected with Colorvision). I was assuming a Wilburs or something. But I can see that the bike is very stock and clean looking.

Nope he won't be at TOR.
He is going to look at a R1200S Sat. from Scottsdale, AZ.

If he looks at an R1200S and price isn't really a consideration, and he likes the more radical styling, he'll probably get the 1200.

I'm starting to like the yellow ones that I've seen.

He is looking at a used one through a dealership... Black, with very low mileage. I would not be surprised if he gets it.
He rode his Ducati Monster from his place to mine... So I don't think comfort will be an issue..

A little overrated in this day and age.
