hi,

please help me with this

I want a scanner for my bmw motorcycle

please let me know options

some months ago I download a program that works on laptops and pda, sadly i need to format my notebook and I don't save it and I don't remember the name

I seem to recall someone posting a code reader GT1 equivelant that was under development.

under development is the key phrase here.
I do believe they (It's a South African company if memory serves) are doing this first for the 1150 series bikes.
Anything with BMW-K is going to be a whole different animal, btw.

Yeah, IIRC they had production VAG COm units for Audi but the one for our R1100S was still under development. What was their website addy?

What information can you get from this? Or does it just read faults and deletes them?

i tried to put my bike on my scanner.
it broke the friggin' glass.

which i find to be somewhat weird, because i can take my computer monitor and put it face down on the scanner to make copies, but when i tried to put the bike on there...dang thing broke the glass. POS!

i be takin' the scanner back to Best Buy. got'z me one of dem warren-tee thingies!

It does give some detail like where and what it is. Haven't seen full detail since I didn't have any faults. I think I saw some detailed pics on advrider.
