ABS on R1200S

Is it just me, or is that thing way to sensitive?

About half of my riding is done in the town, and I had ABS activating a few times on slightly harder breakings.

I've braked hard a few times and it hasn't activated yet? Maybe there was some gravel in the road you didn't notice.

The only thing I've noticed is it activating sometimes on rough surfaces. Mine starts a stoppie before the abs cuts in.

The thing is, I read a recent review of R1200S in a local bike magazine, and they mentioned that the ABS was too sensitive. Naturally, I disregarded this, thinking that the review is biased (BMW bikes are not particulary popular with the crowds here). But, like I said, a couple of times I felt that ABS activated on me without reasonable provocation, so I started thinking if there might be some truth to what the magazine review said.

It is ofcourse possible, that I don't know what I'm talking about, since I never had a bike with ABS before, so I was just wondering if anyone had a similar occurance.

The problem is, that once it activates, the length of breaking is quite unexpectedly increased and one time it happend I nearly ended in the rear of a car in front of me, maniacally squeezing the break lever, when I thought that there was plenty of room to decelerate.

It may act strange at low speed for you but mine never has..........while on the other hand......I consistently out-brake local bikes when we are running down a road, come upon a intersection, and must make the turn. No ABS trouble here. I do, however, cut it off in the mountains when the pavement is dry. IMHOOC
