PMC< how did the rebuild turn out?
 

Hey Phil, was your rebuild and performance enhancements of your R11 all you had hoped for?

Sorry for the delayed response, we just got home from vacation until last night about 10:30. The bike wasn't ready so we drove the Passat but we had a great vacation. Went to a lot of places ( 7 national parks and a couple of national monuments) and got a lot of pictures we wouldn't have gone or gotten riding the bike.

As for the bike, well, I think some one up there doesn't want us riding this year. The bike broke in June and it still isn't back together yet. Long story on parts that were available then weren't, parts that were sent but wrong, parts that were to be modified but weren't. So now I am waiting on rod bearings and cylinders ( he forgot to machine down the spigots to fit the R1100 cases). Report will follow when rebuild is complete.
