Changing tires North NJ, NYC area
I need new tires. BMW of Manhattan is asking me $450 for a pair of Metzeler M3 on the bike and Cross Country in NJ $530.
Do you guys know a better place to get tires? I can get a set of M3 in ebay for around $250 but I don't have the tools, the skills and the place to put them myself. Thanks

Have you tried Circle Cycles? They are off route 46, about 15mins from Hoboken.

Sounds like a bunch of you guys need to get together and buy something like a NoMar changer and balancer. Pay for itself in no time at those rates.

martin, can you remove the wheels and bring them with the tires yourself, or do you need the complete job done?

I just have a rear stand. So I can't remove the front one.

I got tires swapped and balanced at Jack Trebour Motorcycles in Ledgewood for $32 a wheel, I didn't even buy the tires from them, and if you are lucky they might have the Desmodedici in when you get there.

Hey Martin,
I've gotten my tires here last couple of times: http://www.tiresunlimited.com/default.html Then I bring them with the wheels to get done a couple of places....one place in Brooklyn by the Pulaski bridge and the other is 5 mins from my house out here in Branchburg. If you want you can have them shipped to my place and ride out here to the guy I use--it's $42.50 for the pair. I'm about 60 mins from you.
