Ohlins Preload Adjuster

Hello everyone,
Its been a long time since i've had to adjust my suspension on my bike so when I went to adjust the preload on my Ohlins rear shock I was suprised to find out that it didn't click when I turned it. Arent they supposed to have clicks?

Funny, I recall mine perhaps lightly clicking at one time too, but it went back to Ohlins a year ago for a new adjuster and I just checked it - no clicking.
