Thanks for the heads up. I haven't read it yet, but I LOVE my RR.

Mal,

Hadn't noticed the move to the CBR. Have you ridden the old one; any thoughts on the old models compared to the new one? I'm considering an old one as a trackbike, since they are so easy, relatively, to ride?

I've had my eye on a CBR since I bought my ZX10R in 2004 and I was considering an RC51 again but used prices for the CBR are comparable.

Any thoughts?

Hey,

They seem to pick the 1098 Duc over the in-line fours

I sat on a RR last week Mal. Good ergos and I liked the seat a lot. The guy scared himself trying to run with the squids and traded it on a Dodge Truck.. Has 6500 miles and they're asking 8k; but, it's in a H-D bike shop.

RC -

I assume you're talking about the "old" 1000RR. I've owned every RR since the original. I personally liked the 954 best, because it was very light AND felt it. It just needs a steering damper.

I had an '04 10R as well. What a sick bike. Had only a pipe on it and it was so vicious (because of my light weight) that I went 1 up on the front sprocket, which it pulled easily. 190 on the GPS. No comments please. :) I miss my RC51 as well.
