Arachnophobia anyone??
Wife and I just test rode on today, interesting to say the least, whole different sensation than a bike. Takes a little while to get use to as small corrections to steering are opposite a bike (no counter steer). Very peppy and sounds good, like a V twin should.
Wife has been wanting a convertible, but said she might consider this instead, we will have to see. She is getting tired of the F650, and with her short legs, thinks this would be a good replacement. Wonder if you can retrofit a brake lever on the RH bar, using a foot brake just feels wrong. ![]()

It had a stability control system that makes it almost impossible to flip from what I read, people have tried.

I tried one of these at an open house at Honda of Hollywood a couple of weeks ago.Was a lot of fun with its stabilty control....BUT no good for me as you cannot split traffic on it, may as well be in a car

I would think stoppies would be easy. Other than than, not sure I see the motorcycle connection.

i dont get these things, leaning the bike is the best part of a motorcycle.
Now this I get, it may be bizarre looking but at least it leans! ![]()

I would rather have one of these. I just saw one down at the dealership, man it looked cool. It is a Polaris Ranger Razor.

A woman here at work has one of these. She ordered it about a year ago and waited until now for it. She is big into snow mobiling, but not so comfortable on a bike. It seems like for her that it was the only way she could go riding with her husband w/o being a passenger. Her husband who rides alot rode it and said that it was tough to get used to not leaning (I agree, the best part of motorcycling), but he says now he gets more bike time because she has her own. Seems to be built very well and it gets lots of attention. The motor will no doubt last forever if it is like any other rotax.... |

So... is there a slip-on avaliable for these wheeled snowmobiles? Maybe something like a Arachropovic?

Sorry guys, didn't mean to confuse anyone. The first sentence from the quote refered to "leaning," the Can Am. In my post I refered to leaning and assumed that it would be obvious. My mistake. Yes, she has a can am. A later post asked about aftermarket can's. She did just have put on her's but I have not seen it yet for her and her husband had thier bikes loaded up for Myrtle Beach. From what she mentioned, most any can will work, it's just the connector from the headers to the can that needs to be matched up? Once I get a look at it I can post it here if anyone is thruely interested |

ABS on all three wheels - cool Seemed a little heavy on the handle bars (sitting still). That exhaust can must weight 70 lbs I would love to see a MC with that 990 engine. Looks like a hand brake would be an easy install. I would want one. but really.... I can't see owning one... no lane splitting for the size . no storage Nope not for me. ![]()

ya know what, i've been trying to hold back, but this is starting to get to be too much fun.
that spyder for sale is really tempting, but i'd have to ride it before it made me wet. keep in mind that it's an exceptionally old concept...which makes it even more interesting to watch. a 2-front wheel, single rear wheel concept is something that's been fought over for many a year. it goes waaayyyyy back. so much so that somebody, somewhere, oughta write a coffee table book. fer instance, despite the bmw logo on the fairing, this is a harley-davidson powered henderson. they made a whole gaggle of these, in a wide variety of flavors: ![]() during the CPSC witch-hunt over 3-wheel atv's (a deserved removal of a nasty vehicle), people like honda did a corporate "CYA" by patenting the "kick-n-go" (US) and the "go-go-7" (japan), just to get a 2-front-wheel, single-rear-wheel gismo on the public books: ![]() since then, there have been many versions available, from the wooden framed, gsxr100cc "vortex" to untold numbers of monocoque/carbon fiber creations. i've only ridden three of these beasts, none of which are in production any more, but the concept is not only interesting, the results are very impressive. the variations that allow you to lean into the corners (both front wheels lean in tandem) seem to be the real thrill delivery toys. it's exceptionally scary when you realize how deep you can go in before mashing the brakes, and with that fat-ass rear tire, how hard those things come out of the corners. the tilt-n-turn versions are the way to go. while they still can't split lanes, if you hand one to someone who's got some time/experience ripping down twisty roads with it...i ***** you not...there ain't a motorcycle or car out there it can't track down, gobble up and spit out. those things can go in SOOOO deep you can do a stoppie, and they drive out so hard it...it's just not fair. .....if i were a rich man....there'd be one in my garage.
