What's It Worth? or The Price is Right!
I have my beautiful R1100S up for sale in order to buy an R1200S
![]() I love the bike and don't want to "give it away". At the same time, if I don't sell it I can't get an R1200S. I thought I would tap into the collective wisdom here to determine a reasonable price. My bike's description is here Please let me know your thoughts on the value. ![]() PS, I'm located in Norther California ![]()

No try, do or not do

the only way to maximize your resale value is to part out the goodies, and sell the bike in stock trim. you will never recover the most value of your add-ons when you keep it together

I used to have one just like that, except an '02. It didn't have the exhaust, but it had a couple other extras and 39K miles. Took forever to get $7,300 for it last summer. I think the market has softened since then. My guess would be ask for $9K and settle for $8-8,500.

It came with the comfort bars but one of the first things I did was to buy and install a set of regular bars.

I got $7200 for my '04 with all that stuff you show and 46,000 miles this past Fall. You should be able to get $8k for it easy. So, I think Steve is right on in his approximation and method.
