Primary fan viscous clutch

Just doing some routine inspection/maintenance. Does anyone know how far the fan should spin when flicked - I have a totally different vehicle where the spin is nearly one revolution normally - on the BMW the fan barely moves when flicked - maybe one blades width.

Are you referring to the propeller blades on the blue and white emblems (debunked etymology in fact)? Or the one on the top of my helmet?

Possibly stepped in to the wrong room?

You might check 3 doors down on your left.

...I think he means the one in the back of the alternator!... but then, it stands to surprise me that he's able to "flick" it... maybe the belt is missing!?
