New 3D navigation - things to come
 

That stuff is so cool!
Honda has had that system going for a few years now. I researched the Nav unit in my wifes car when we got it ~2 years ago...

They also have a "high crime warning" system to alert you when you might run into gangs and get car jacked...
Its an easier thing to do when your small in size... I wouldnt expect it to arrive in the US any time soon... And when it does I expect LA/NY/Chicago/etc to be done first..

Call me old skool but I like moving maps 2d (view from above) instead of new fangled 3D. Maybe it's cause I learned to navigate via charts before I started to use maps for roads.

How do they keep the pictorial database updated? It would be nice if you're looking for a prominent building.
