sweet, but that price is a bit out there! those wheels are shown on a k-bike, is it a direct swap for the R12? how much weight do you think you save with those?

I'm pretty sure the K has the paralever on the left so the rear wheel mounts from the right side. This is the opposite of what the R has. Has anyone tried forged/aluminum rims on the R12S? How much quicker does it turn with them?

I think an R12S with these would be just amazing.

That BST wheel looks pretty straight, in terms of styling, rather than the usually swept design of BMW OE motorcycle wheels. Mount the tire rear tire the other direction, turn the wheel mount face around... and it should bolt up, no? It is just a mirror image.

Agreed, it would be very cool on an R12S. Perhaps with the aluminum center carrier painted carbon black, so not to stand out quite so much.

Would work well on a silver paint bike. Hmmm . .. something goofy with the candycane job could be done with a well-proportioned red stripe on that hub. If I only had that expendable income.

I spoke with them about another set they had at one time. That particular set was directional (sweep design, similiar to the oem rim) and could not be used on the R. They stated the ones they had in stock now were for the r12r and s, even though the listed pic is of a K.
