Yes, they are.
I was present back in the day at SIR (Seattle Int'l raceway), now Pacific raceways.. when Eddie passed Freddie in turn two on the inside...in the dirt. (nothing like getting lapped 5 times in one race to demoralize one) that Rossi pass in the corkscrew, in the dirt, sideways. It'd be interesting to stick him on n XR750 at the Indy Mile and see how he does...

Might wanna edit the names out for those who are taping it to view later Jony.
Yep that dirt incident was what the lead rider was hoping for.... he is good... wonder if he slowed a little to push him wide???

Well I can't add spoiler to the title.... They changed the software so you can't edit titles anymore.
Good luck with the Rune..... Reminds me of the time my Corp. exec bud showed up with a new Z3 a few years ago... he asked me to drive it.... he kind of turned white when I showed him what it would do in the corners..

...to fall down, NOT loose a position and ONLY finish 13 and some odd seconds behind Rossi??? UNREAL!
How about Jorge Lorenzo, though?... how many lives does a Cat have?... Darn, he's crashing quite a bit this season... broke his foot, this time!

What a race! What a battle!
Randy Mamola said that the battle was so intense that the only thing missing were machine guns on their bikes.

Wow, what a race! Can't put in a spoiler but that was a classic.
Impressed by Spies and Hacking. The former never looked out of his depth while Hack made Ant West look like a baboon. I hope that it all works out with who goes where and, if Spies gets the full-time seat in GP next season, the next guy with a ticket for the wildcard Suzuki in America has the initials MM.

Todays MotoGP Race was a good one (well, at least until Stoner made his mistake) but if you REALLY want to experience edge-of-the-seat racing, watch todays WSBK from BRNO!!!
I will NOT spoil it, but it is TOP NOTCH! One thing I can tell and ask though: Don't know whether anyone else saw this, but at one point, Casey Stoner put his right peg on the ground, the result was sparks (NO, it was not the knee Puck, it was a hard part!)... at first I thought that's just not possible (til I realized that it IS Stoner, after all) but then I started watching WSBK and Corser just kept dragging the pegs on his 1098R... once again, not any kind of fancy Sliders, as the commentator guessed... I replayed it over and over... he is grinding hard parts... I just can't help but think that these guys simply don't care about the laws of physics and thus, simply make them go away for about 20 laps at a time! What a GREAT day for Motorcycle Racing!

He had a hard day today, but still within striking distance. Great race this year: very close times in the GC and they're tossing out the cheaters.

phenomenal race, piss poor coverage, it went from 8 laps to go to last lap in about a mintue, and where thehell are all the replays of the crashes!! jeezuz, the flying lorenzo does another backflip highside, and they dont even replay it till the end, and NO INTERVIEW OF STONER!! WTF?
as far as Rossi's pass in the corkscrew, that was pure luck, he was clearly in way over his head and managed to save it without taking stoner out in the process, that did not look like the line he intended.

Stoner said at end to our BBC reporter that what rossi did was un-necessary! lol and just before that didnt shake rossis hand when he put it out but did later shake it on the podium, interesting migh be that he did it on podium as all could see or was told to do it!

The coverage was poor, but it was only partially a CBS issue. They get the feed they get. That is the way it is done in most markets, unfortunately. Most regional/national markets get their own commentators, but there are a limited number of video feeds.
I appreciate that they're trying to provide background info and color, but that does not fit with a LIVE broadcast. Too much is skipped and lost, when you add in the U.S. markets interspersing of commercials. This is partially a problem of U.S. TV ad revenue in general, and not specific to CBS. Speed Channel does a bit better job, but they're replays would have been largely the same, and the losing 3 or 4 laps at once happens there too. Also losing the 2 laps before the end. Also, if you look at coverage elsewhere, all the comments and background info etc swell the program to 90-120 minutes. If we only make an hour show, it will continue to suck. It sucked, but most of it was not CBS specific.
