Question Any So Cal Pelicans on the West Side Hear of Angel City Cycle?

Got a friend taking in an '06 R1200GS for a tune that can report back, but was just wondering if anyone had some experience with this shop or could vouch for them. I did a quick search of the forum and didn't find anything. Looks promising.

...I'd like to lknow myself. I know this guy works on airheads, as I considered buying one of his bikes off craigslist one time and chatted with him via e-mail.
I don't know anyone that's used his shop though.

S1Scott, noticed the Breakfast Boys salute.

I've got a good friend that, like me, started BMW life with a slate gray R1150GS and now rides an R12GS. His used GS came equipped with cryptic skull and crossed forks stickers, on the forks of course, that always intrigued me.

A year later after he had moved onto a R12GS and I to a R11S, we ran across a strange accident in which a howling over corrected and brand new black Viper whacked 2 cars, a 4x truck, and pitched a seriously crushed R1200GS over the look out on Stunt Rd, Santa Monica Mnts, So Cal into the chaparral. This R12GS was sporting the same scull and forks.

The dismounted rider of this unfortunate parked bike was not hurt, but turned out to be a friend and not the owner. He additionally turned out to be the brother of the original owner that sold my buddy that first Breakfast Boys slate gray R1150GS.

Small world -Ring a bell? I know, first rule of Breakfast Boys is...

So, what/when was the beef with Angel City? Doesn't sound good(?)

these days, the BB's are spread far and wide but started right here in the valley and vta county, 20 or so years ago. the above mentioned logo had appeared in some movies, too!! there are fewer of us now, unfortunately. The very person who was riding that horribly wrecked GS that day at the top of stunt is the one who had a bad deal with acc. I am NOT going to get into details and he said she said stuff on here, you guys asked if anyone had any dealings with them, I responded. the deal in question involved an expensive repair that either was not done at all or done very poorly, as Irv seaver's wound up straightening out the aftermath. and if you bought a bike from one of those guys,(breakfast boys) you got an extensively over maintained, well cared for machine! btw, you should have come up for the 3-c ride yesterday, it was a hoot!! you would have seen a couple more of those stickers, too!

Thanks for the diplomatic info Scott, I'll split the lanes with it.

Wish I could have met many of you, stickered or otherwise! A wedding this weekend precluded riding. Hope to get out soon with you all. Yo Moto-Scott speaks very highly of many of our local riders and their considerable skills.
