water in engine

Hi All,
accidentaly let in drops of water in the engine through the oil filling hole .... is it 'deadly' for the engine? Do I need to flush the whole engine?

Thanks

Cool

Just let it set for a couple of days or longer then change the oil.

If its just a few drops then go ride the thing! Get it nice and warm and the water should evaporate out.

How many drops of water? 2 or 3? Or a cup full of drops? I'd say anything less than 50ml and you can get away with riding it though the oil won't be happy. Anything more than that and I'd warm her up good then flush the oil.

Jony would know about that since he'd tinkered with boats, but this engine has water in the oil.

A few drops will evaporate out when you ride it. There is all kinds of condensation happening in the cases adding water to the oil, you just don't see it.

Agree, ride it. If there is alot of water in the oil, it will have the color of a chocolate milk shake. If thats the case change it out.
