$13k+ forks plus a 2D stack... forged rims... radial pistons & master...

YellowRacer 08-27-2008 01:45 PM

Sweet!!!!

Guest24 08-27-2008 01:51 PM

You won't see those forks on the vanilla production model.

Looks like the rider is getting his moneys worth out of the sides of that front tire...is the red tube with silver rod a displacement sensor for a data recording device?

chewie 08-27-2008 07:03 PM

A bit of Maori flavour, well almost.

Nice!

TestaRosa 08-27-2008 08:17 PM

I am so going to own one of those.

Yes, that is to measure suspension travel while riding the track. Engineers can use that information to properly setup the suspension for the rider.

Hmmmm

1. Tasty paint job (can I have it in pink?)

2. Could be interesting to see how it compares (include price) VS the King (Blade 08 and/or 09 + EABS). Note: not many people out there can handle/master/use 150+ bhp not to mention 190 (actually....well...you know...)

Red tube / Silver rod, used for recording extension / compression data of front fork, is combined with all other data instruments to get an overall idea of what the bike is doing under brakes, acceleration, etc.

Thanks for the pics Hugo! Very interesting...

shreddr 08-28-2008 02:41 AM

very sweet , although the funkadelic paintjob is a bit much!

squall_line 08-28-2008 07:22 AM

Pretty sure the paintjob is the typical black/white "mask the lines of the vehicle" treatment that a lot of pre-production vehicles get, just a little bit more exotic of a pattern than most cars get.

A wonderful piece of machinery. Can't wait to see how the street version will look. If I had money to spare I would be tempted to buy one, just for fun.

Daniel Restrepo 08-28-2008 10:07 AM

zustation 08-28-2008 10:24 AM

signit98 08-28-2008 10:45 AM
