Nice boots!
Couldn't resist.
How did you pass tech with those hiking boots?
Anyway I am glad you discovered a new hobby.
Do a on-track riding school you will not regret it.

Hold it right there! Them's Harley Davidsion motor sickle boots.

Jon, if you can watch our Weather Channel you'll see those idiots demonstrating how hard it is to stand up in a 100 mph wind. They'll keep at it until a piece of roof hits one of them and they die. All for the sake of TV ratings. Dumb and Dumbest.

Get those feet in! Stand on the balls of your feet, not the middle of the foot. slide the butt half way off the seat to the left, Keep your shoulders parallel with the steering column... And look ahead!

Ha ha,

Track days are a lot of fun! I've done many on the SV650, but none yet on the R1100S. I might have to do one later this year before it's too late.

Dang, Ike just cancelled our trackday. Oh well, we're not racing at that track again this year so it's no big loss. Makes it 3 weekends since april w/o tracktime. Horrible horrible. I can use the break. SV needs shock work and a new motor, and the 675 is oversprung. Time to fix it all up.

On the serious side, the money you spend on personal armor is not wasted. You should wear it when you street ride. You're more likely to need it there.

Or in my case I sometimes think stupidity. Having passed the half century mark in age, if I ever fall, I will not heal like I use to, but is is too much fun to stop.

They have screws and titanium now! Not to worry. You'd be much safer if you give up street riding. lol
