R1200S HID Ballast Location?

To those of you that have installed HID headlight(s) on you R1200S, where did you locate the ballast?

Made a small bracket and bolted it to the same bolt that the horn uses and mounted it vertically with the wiring on the top. I don't have the pics with me right now or I would post one.

And BTW... you will love HID on your bike.

...do a search. most guys mount them on the fairing bracket on either side where your fuse box is.

thats where you do it on the 11, is the 12 the same?

Exactly! I mounted mine fine on the fuse box of the R1100S but the R1200S looks different.
