A lot of pictures from clutch replacement

Hi i drive a R1100S 99.
I am from Greece and I love this bike.
My english are not very good so please forgive me if i make stupid mistakes.
Thanks to this forum i can keep my bike in perfect condition.
Thanks to you guys i have done a rear crown bearing and seal replacement
and one month ago i changed my clutch (200km since then and works ok) and
all the seals inside there.
Your picture posts helped me a lot and because i wanted to help too i took
many pictures during the hole procedure of the clutch replacement.
I have uploaded them in flickr

http://www.flickr.com/photos/h04adno/sets/72157607809267224/

My clutch failed at 52000km probably for two reasons
1st the clytch slave cylinder and seal failed.
2nd both of the main seals faild.

The clutch plate was a bit wet from oil but its thicknes was 5.4mm
I think 4.8mm is the limit.
Probably would have lasted at least 30000km more.

I had problems in 6th gear (sliping i thing is the right word)
Now everything seems to work ok.

I was working until late and it came into my garage.
It kept me company for a couple of minutes...

You know I was thinking the same thing.
It was the first time I was doing something like that and ... i did it.
But everything I have done was after a lot of time spend reading this foroum......
and all torque setings by the book.
Thanks again to ALL OF YOU for this perfect forum.

In GREECE most of the BMW riders have no idea of what they drive and how it works.
And the forums here have no informations at all.
