to the best of my knowledge currently the answer is no if you want to run the standard Metzlers and yes if you change to pirelli's.

ilmberger have one listed on thier site, but I don't think it's actually available yet:

Hugger for HP2 Sport

Sierra BMW has one listed on their site (I have one ordered) delivery is expected in 3-4 weeks. Shift-Tech also has one coming in 5-6 weeks. Both are designed, I am told, to fit our bikes as they are.

Isnt the final drive the same on the R12S and the HP2S? The Ilmberger and Shift Tech huggers (same item) both mount up the the back side of the final drive.

Is the tire profile enough to make a difference? 50 vs 55
If not, then I don't know why they would be any different.

Nice bike EZ, when did you score that?

BTW I am running a 190/55 on my bike, and have no issues with the Shift Tech hugger.

So do we think the ilmberger is available now? Does anyone actually have one?

The tyre profile on the HP2S is sigficantly different to the 1200, the metzlers are closer to a 60 than the published 55 so the 1200 huggers won't work

I am running the michelin pp2ct 190/55 on the rear, with the shift tech (ilmberger) hugger and there are no clearance issues. the final drive is the same, that picture posted of the hp2s is the same hugger i have.

It appears that Ilmberger shows the hugger on their site, BUT none are yet available. Does Sierra have any in stock?

Wait til you get the rear REAL hot and expand at high speeds... gotta love the sound, though...
