I sold it and bought an HP2 Sport. The parts for a RR cost more than airplane parts. Come to think of it, the parts for an HP2S cost more than aircraft parts. Maybe if I lose the Roundel the parts cost will go down--NOT.

O yea the cars: 1992 850i for play and a 2006 530i for work and a 2002 s80 volvo for wife and dogs to beat up on.

I was at that marina one time, the day I pulled out of there with that boat behind the Avalanche, back in November of 2004. You know you can buy a darn nice boat down your way for a heck of a lot less than up on the Northern Chesapeake. Nice area, though. Dealt with Jerry, if my memory serves me. Good guy, straight dealer. By the way....for the record...it's a 2003 Martinique 2400.

My current cage is a '97 Taurus SHO, the Taurus with the V8. The rocker panels are held on by 2 strips of metal about 1/4 inch wide any more, and most of the rest of the car is falling apart, too, other than the drivetrain.

Former cages were, in order, '84 Cavalier, '93 Saturn SL1, '95 Jetta GL, '95 Passat GLX, '97 A6 quattro. I've had the SHO for a lot longer than any other car or bike in my life, going on 6 1/2 years now.

1997 528i. 122,000 miles. 5-SP manual. Son's car now. Great road-trip car.

2007 328xit. 29,000 miles. 6-SP manual. Wife's fishing-mobile. She is nutz about fly fishing and keeps rods and reels and waders in there so she can scramble when the call goes out that the steelhead are hitting in Erie or the False Albacore are in a boil off Harker's Island. She wants to track it this year at the new New Jersey course down in Millville.

2006 Z4 3.0 si. 30,000 miles. 6-SP manual. Good commuting car for me. 24+ mpg. Also, fun to drive. Leased it and then bought it (a month ago). They made an offer I couldn't refuse. Especially since the new Z4 is 3500 lbs.

Ron I want the polo with the diesel engine. My TDI beetle gets me 48-50 mpg but the new Polo is much better!

A new 1.6 litre TDI common rail diesel unit will join the range.

The diesel-engined Polo BlueMotion we mentioned earlier today will achieve a fuel economy of 3.8 l/100km, besting the 2010 Toyota Prius. CO2 Emissions for the Polo BlueMotion will be kept to just 96 g/km.

The BlueMotion achieves its brilliant figures courtesy of a new 1.2 litre three-cylinder common rail diesel engine, featuring stop-start technology and regenerative braking.
