I really don't have any good photos.

'06 Chevy Xtreme w/low EZ-loading bed. Bought it used, 6 months old w/8000 miles, for 60% of what the first owner paid new. Ouch for him.

Wife's '04 Mazda RX8 that got traded for a Mazda 3 which gets twice the mileage and is more fun to drive.

Last is the daughters '95 Corolla.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Didn't check the board later yesterday.

As I said, I'd been looking for a little 2+2.

I'd considered the Audi TT, but never did get to driving one, so I can't compare.

I did drive the BMW 128i though, which felt immediate, taut, like a go-kart.

The C30 is more damped feeling than the 128i in both its shifting, its steering and its suspension. I would describe it as sporty, rather than a dedicated sports car. But, you know, it's plenty sporty enough for me. I'm pretty gentle on vehicles.

Now, this cute little Cosmic White Metallic/Java Pearl Metallic one you see in the photo is a 2008 Version 2.0 (now renamed R-Design or R-Type or something for 2009). It has a manual six-speed, a 227 hp (I think) turbocharged in-line 5, and the 18" wheels and the sport-tuned suspension. So I'd imagine the Version 1.0 would be a little more tame.

I'm very happy with it so far. I'm really enjoying driving it. If you like the styling, I'd suggest calling a dealer and arranging a test drive. Waddaya got to lose?

I LOVE that thing. Its such a great little car. I keep threatening to chip it..maybe I'll get that done one of these days, and not tell her about it.

About the only nit I'd pick so far -- and it's really a caution about driving style -- is, if you've got the body kit (as mine does), be careful with dips and bumps and driveways, because that front air dam is LOW to the ground. I bottomed mine out about the second time I drove the thing after buying it. Seems this is a common occurrence, judging by the forum over at http://c30world.com. But that's what they make paint sticks for, right?

Kevin...you sell BMW cars. Hey do you know if bmw is going to bring over the M5 hurricane? I have seen it on youtube. Like 700 hp...crazy fast. I like the new M3... planned on doing a driving demo type of thing at BMW n/a just too lazy to go down there.

I know because I sell them. Apparently, we are not getting the word out well enough. Particularly to those who already have tasted the Koolaid.

Old cage.

Current cage, more of a chaconne really, no need for ear plugs in this one.

I don’t have any interest in sporty cars these days, the R12S has taken that role. Next cage will be another Lexus.

'06 Chrysler Voyager. European Diesel version with Italian VM Motori 2.8L Turbo diesel. I have re-chipped to give 180bhp and 300lb torque. Pulls like a train and gets 35 mpg, which is just as well as we are currently paying $7 a gallon here

Show us a pic of the 'vette and explain what "dual mode exhaust" is, please.

There's a flap in the muffler. Closed is quite, open is loud (nice Nascar sound). The change happens automatically over 3,500 RPM but my fist mod was a remote control (small key, chain sized) that turns it off so it's loud all the time. 436 BHP and 3,100 lbs so the it really moves

Here's a picture of the garage with the Porsche and the R1200S in the background. The Lotus is on the other side of the bike.

Very nice. I'll bet it accelerates like kicking a beer can. I've been looking at a used '07 'vette lately but I don't have the garage space. Too much house and not enough garage.

PS.....silver S. I've heard that's the fastest color.

Bob, FWIW, Costco has a 4 post lift on sale

PS, As you might know, the engine changed from '07 to '08, LS2 to LS3. '05 to '07 are very similar (LS2 -400 HP). '08 and '09 (LS3- 436 w/exhaust) are essentially the same. The announcement for '10 is in two weeks

sounds like you are refering to "cut-out's." Butterfly valve that opens the exhaust to free space.
