how bored can you get ; a complete useless mod to the S...

...and it rains, and rains...
...and rains...

...for days now...
...rain, rain, rain...

...so ; I thought http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...s/thinkerg.gif , lets add a COMPLETE, and UTTERLY useless mod to the S...

...it brings completely nothing...
...and it costs as good as nothing...

...Ladies & Gentlemen : Racy-Style grips... :)
...or something like that...

...as said ; one useless iron wire mod...

Oh....a two looped wrap. I use just a single loop but then I only have one battery charger.

RoLoo:
That will definitely make it MUCH easier to spot your bike from amongst all the other DDR R1200S bikes you park with. Much better than the little flag-on-a-pole thing. :)

Personally, I think that adding the metallic stripes to the hand grips complements the striped paint scheme, don,t you.

be careful what you do with safety wire.
it just start with the wire.
then you realize you need safety wire pliers to make it fancy and trick.
you discover there's better wire out there. you buy it.
you find the same safety wire pliers...but in chrome. you buy them.
you get a little vise and tiny drill bits so you can safety wire all the nuts on the bike.
your bike gains 7 pounds. you dog get suspicious, won't hang in the garage anymore.
every big wheel within 3 miles gets safety wire on the rear axle. your wife hides the blender, coffee maker and bans you from "tinkerin' with the dishwasher.
you go to the races armed with a super micro-close up lense. you push rossi out of your way so you can shoot the artwork on his bike's fasteners.

yea, safety wire.
'taint nothin' safe 'bout it.

put down the wire. step away from the pliers. help is available, if you're willing to accept it!

It would appear that the boredom bug is spreading west at the speed of light.:D

It's not completely useless, Ron... it'll spur the economy... the grips will wear through fast and then yo have to go out an buy new ones!

Great plan to save the world...
