OT: Any Technical Suggestions for getting MotoGP.com feed to TV?
OK, so guys, after watching AMA Pro Primetime a couple of times, and the lousy scheduling of WSB and MotoGP, I'm pretty disgusted with SpeedTV -- it seems that they're in a conspiracy with DMG to destroy the television audience for motorcycle road racing. It makes me wonder, why doesn't some other outfit create a dedicated motorcycle roadracing cable/satellite channel? You know, they create specialized major league baseball coverage packages, and specialized boxing only packages -- where's the specialized moto-roadracing package -- with MotoGP, WSB, AMA, BSB, etc.
Anyway, that's a little off point, because that channel doesn't presently exist. So I'd think about subscribing to MotoGP.com's feed, but I've got a nice 42" plasma screen TV, so I'd want to watch the feed on that, rather than on a laptop. Any of you wizards doing this (motogp.com to TV), and if so, what equipment are you using? Best, Dana in Philly (well, in Portland, OR, today on personal mischief) |
Blue Ray Player.
At least the one I just bought (Panasonic BD-80) allows communication between the computer and TV |
This is what I do...
DVI to HDMI cable from newegg.com... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1239823867.jpg |
Anyone know what the resolution of the feed video is - is it going to look good on a large screen?

Just hook the laptop up to the TV. You may need a doohickey to convert from VGA to S-Video or some such BS, but these things are cheap and readily available. - Mark |
Where does the live feed come from?

WAIT. I read the post: motogp.com......
