Welcome designer. How many miles on your 11S. It's a great sport bike that you can tour on as well. Start saving up for some Ohlins. You'll really love the ride they'll give you. Very clean bike just lookin t the pictures. Bring it over to the RA rally in WV and meet some of us Pleicans who show up.

I ran the M3's on my 11S also and really liked their performance.

The bike is a 2002 with about 9,700 miles on it. It's been raining almost every day since I brought it home with no real clear skies in the forecast. I've only been able to put about 70 miles on it so far.

Regardless, I rode to breakfast yesterday in the rain. The local BMW motorcycle club I belong to has breakfast every Sunday. And they all new I was getting a new bike. So I could not let them down. We stood in the rain and kicked tires.

I have noticed that over bumps this bike is like a log wagon. But I have not checked to see what the stock suspension was set at. I'm only 145lbs. so maybe I juts need to soften it up.

I may be going to some rallies this year. Not sure which ones yet. The club wants me to go to Finger Lakes, Connecticut, and Pocono.

Dziner,
FYI , when you ride in the wet or dirty roads remember to run your suspension a little softer than usual. You will have more control and less sliding around.

To the greater forium:
He weighs only 145lbs!!! I cann't remember when i weighed that much.:):):)

sounds like you are the size of Richard Cooper. I'll bet money you need to back off on the preload both front and rear. Check out the sag threads on this site. Roger will chime in and answer your questions. You will have to remove the palastic to set the front shockwith ease. The oem shocks should still be servicable with the 10k miles. Take your time removing the plastic. The attach pointson the inside opposie the roundel brake off fairls esay.
