exhaust gasket substitute

I'm looking for a substitute for BMW part 18 12 1 342 969 EXHAUST SEAL. This is the seal between the header pipes and the cat. BMW has these priced at $16.6 each. The average cost of any common gasket is under $5. I feel mine are a bit overdue for a replacement.

Yeah, a BMW oil filter is around $21.19 these days, but you can get a K&N for $11.78 and so it goes...

Common gasket for a not so common bike...

Once in a lifetime purchase, it may be aggravating, but I'd just bite the bullet if that's what you need....

If you think that's bad, start buying the little fasteners and screws for the bike, or fuel hose...

I had my headers off to work on the transmission, and I lost the oval gaskets at the front end. At least I remembered where I put the round ones at the cat!

I have reused mine several times and they still seal.
