that's a very rare picture of a san diego moose.
seldom seen and often only distinguishable by their slightly-accented rutting call.
some have been know to migrate to completely different continents to breed.
the one shown is of german decent, as is evident from the black vertical stripes (left over from childhood leiderhosen adornment).

their unique hoofprints (as shown) can be found in many of our national parks.
this rare breed is generally considered docile unless cornered or hungry.
can be found from mexico on up through canada, and in a few instances, brief forays into the far reaches of alaska.
