Supercross Final Live Tonight!

What has been a very exciting SX season will come to a conclusion this evening live from Las Vegas! There are 4 riders all capable of taking the title although it appears to be Villopoto's to lose. So who's gonna take it????

here is my bizarro prediction, with all the ups and downs this season has had, and crashes the final can't go off without a hitch, so here is how it will go down!

Stewart and Villopoto will both win their heat races going away, making them super confident for the Main. Villopoto will dump it in the first turn in the main and get run over by the pack, restarting in last, and charging hard but coming up short. Stewart and Reed will trade paint for 18 laps, until they tangle bars in mid-air over the quads and both cartwheel off into oblivion, at which point super consistent Ryan Dungey will take the win and title! Bizarre yes, but so has the whole season been!

Take your pick of the top 4, here is a RacerX points explanation of who needs to do what!

I bet Stewart goes over the bars again, that is his new thing. The Bubba scrub has gotten old, so now cartwheeling the bike is his thing.

Should be a good race, no doubt.

Great year definitely. Looking forward to watching the finale.

Bye Bye Bubba. You need to concentrate more on being a celebrity.

nice try shred, but dungey only wins when the fast guys aren't there.
don't want to spoil the results, but there were fast guys there.

but at least you were partially right: stewie was nice enough to crash for ya.

2011's SX season's most frequently heard conversation on the Asterik mobile medical radio:
"Stewart's down!"
"Again?"
"Yep."

Stewart's been much more involved in his media career than his racing career and his season's performance shows it.
He's finished.
Thanks, Dad..................

He's not the first and he sure won't be the last that has a tough time dealing with his new found fame, Ken. It's just kids with money, that's all. It's the same in the NFL, MLB and the NBA.

He's not making the calls - it's his sports Dad managing his "career".
At least they can count the money, for a little while.
Then it's down to hoping for a Dancing with the Stars gig.

just a bad season for him. a whole lot of over-riding the bike.

this supercross season he went from "fastest man on the planet" to "fastest man to get planted".

funny how you guys are so quick to put a fork in him, yet the guys he races with consider him a threat for the win everytime he gets on the track.

best part of last night was kevin windham's "transfer" in opening ceremonies, where he comes out and jumps diagionally across the track. i've never seen anybody go that high or jump that far. it's worth watching the race just for that part!

Fastest man to get planted!

That's hilarious!!!

James is resilient, that's for sure. Taking that many digs and staying alive.

His father needs to stop the reality shows and get him some professional help for his Officer Bubba fetish.
Then maybe he can salvage his career - otherwise, he's finished.
He does not have the maturity or mental health to handle his increasing penchant for crashing.

PS.
I don't think Windham is saying that these days.

get real, with another lap Dungey would have won that race, it looked like Reed brake checked him in the second to last turn, or he might have had it anyway.

Stewart was fast, but you gotta be on the bike to win, bummer for Windham, he was flying. Outdoors anoyone?

shred~i know you're a dungey fan, but the sport is based on results. look at the results. as far as lvsx, look at the lap times. RD wasn't catching reed, reed was slowing down and being careful. happens all the time. you only have to win by an inch.

RD does have a chance outdoors, just like everyone else before the first gate drop, but RV is expected to spank everybody.

cage, it's scary how much you think you know based on watching a silly tv show and reading the tabloids.

ryan hughes says stewarts problem is he rides flat-footed and not on the ball of his foot like poto, thus losing shock absorbtion ability in his legs. of course, ryno could just be looking for new customers too. I think its a valid argument.

If internet postings scare you, you need to buck up a tad...
OK, Stewart will be fine.

i never said anything about internet posts scaring me.

see below: i made the words bold and in red to make it simpler for you to comprehend:

it's scary how much you think you know based on watching a silly tv show and reading the tabloids.

highlander~ yea but ryno says that about almost everybody. besides, when do we ever see stewie's feet on the pegs anyway? they're often up around his ears somewhere.

Riddle me this portly-short.
If it's scary how much I think I know, who is it scary to - me? The fear factor goes to the party making the observation, not the party producing the "scary" action.
